Ready for Europe is part of the BILDUNGSWERK der NIEDERSÄCHSISCHEN WIRTSCHAFT (Educational Institute of Industry and Commerce in Lower Saxony) (Anfangsbuchstaben fett) GmbH (BNW) in Oldenburg.

The BNW organises successful foreign placements lasting several weeks in a variety of projects. Since 2008 almost 40 apprentices have been able to gain international experience as part of their training in a foreign country.
As part of Ready for Europe we want to not only transfer part of the training framework plan abroad, but also impart additional qualifications.

Every apprentice in our international program is intensively prepared for their placement abroad. Before they leave all participants meet to have the process explained to them in detail. Two weeks before travel each participant personally receives all paperwork including addresses, telephone numbers and name of their contact partner. During the placement everyone is visited by a staff member of the BNW at their place of work, additionally a contact person is available at each location.
